OREF 103 – Advisory Regarding Title Insurance
Let’s be honest—title insurance probably isn’t something your clients talk about over dinner. It often sounds like a confusing mix of legal terms and fine print.
This advisory provides clients with a basic overview of what title insurance is, what it typically covers (and doesn’t cover), and why it matters in a real estate transaction. It’s meant to help clients begin to understand the topic. If they have questions or need help understanding the details, they should reach out directly to the escrow officer, who is best equipped to guide them through the specifics.
We recommend reviewing the form yourself and sharing it with your clients as part of the transaction process.
