Understanding the OREF 020 Exemption for Court-Appointed Sellers

If a person passes away and another individual is appointed by the court to sell their real property, that individual qualifies for the exemption in Section 1, line 19 of OREF 020 – Seller’s Property Disclosure Statement and is not required to complete the disclosure. This exemption applies even if the deceased held the property in a living trust.
