Oregon Real Estate Forms, LLC (OREF) is proud to announce that Melissa Peterson has been appointed as Executive Officer. A hardworking problem solver with substantial sales, technology, project management, and customer service experience in the real estate industry, Peterson assumed her new responsibilities in late June.
During her 12 years with The Hasson Company, the tech savvy Peterson led teams to develop impactful solutions for practical business practices and emerging needs. She identified the need for brokers to have technology and marketing support, and subsequently developed, launched, and ran a new Agent Services department that drastically increased broker adoption of technology tools.
“It was immediately clear that Melissa was the right fit for our company,” said Richard Caplan, Chair of the OREF Board of Managers. “She has a complete understanding of the needs of REALTORS®, along with an impressive vision for how to grow and deliver the value of OREF services.”
As a leader, Peterson ensures that team members understand and are aligned with organizational goals. She connects with staff and takes pride in investing in people.
“I’m so pleased to have the opportunity to join the OREF team,” said Peterson. “I believe OREF has a terrific business model and is in excellent position to grow and deliver crucial services that brokers need in a rapidly-changing industry.”
“Melissa has our full confidence not only to shepherd OREF through the unique challenges of our current environment, but also to develop the tools and processes necessary to ensure our customers succeed,” said Michele Holen, CEO, Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS® and co-owner of OREF, on behalf of herself and fellow co-owner Eugene REALTORS®’s CEO, Cari Garrigus.
